What is the manufacturing method of paint brushes?
1. Use the long hair (because it is softer), wash it with grass ash juice, then use lacquer 15, kerosene 1, and mix thoroughly. Soak the hair and comb it smoothly, and then scrape the excess lacquer with a lacquer scraper, and press it into a thickness of 1 cm, width and length as needed. Glued to a smooth glass plate.
2. After 48 hours, it becomes a little hard and dry. Take it up with a thin slicer. Tie it on the thin wooden board with thin hemp rope. After a few days of complete drying, the hemp rope is taken out, and all sides are glued with thin wooden boards (the wood is foamed loose) with paint, clamped together, and tied with hemp rope. After the paint is dry, remove the twine.
3. Planed and neatly planed the assembled wooden boards.
4. When using, obliquely grind the circumference of one end on the grindstone into a sharp shape, such as a thin line, with the tip even. Then rub it with soap and wash it cleanly and use it for painting.
The brush is composed of bristles, iron sheet and wooden handle. When using it, dip the brush in the lacquer, and then apply it on the painted furniture. After a few coats, the paint on the brush is used up and the brush returns to the lacquer. Dip in some paint, and then go to the unpainted parts. Repeat this many times until a piece of furniture is about to complete the painting task.
